Laska’s Opinion: Medicine Mama is quite new to Canada and I really like the ingredients in the VMagic Vulva Balm and Lip Stick. Both of these products are similar just the packaging as the Lip Stick is more for travel size. The ingredients in these two products are focused around Sea Buckthorn oil. I love Sea Buckthorn berries as this plant has so many healing properties and women can benefit them in our circle of life journey. Also they have their own ‘Bee Glue” - many people assume bees honey and sugar but that is only one part of what bees produce. I suggest that this product is worth trying to see if this Vulva Balm helps your vaginal skin and tissue restore balance due to aging and changes within our life span.
The Grooming Polish can cause a bit of confusion but it is about your skin not your vaginal area but the buttocks, thighs, stomach and breasts. This Polish can help exfoliate skin as with age our skin needs more attention than traditional soaps and lotions can offer.
Mama Medicine is definitely worth a look into.
One note for all Personal Lubricants - Moisturizers - the ingredients listed in any product reacts different to every different body type. The best defense for Lubrication for women in the vaginal canal is through diet and exercise first as there is not a quick fix to our hormonal balance. We have 22 different levels of bacteria in our bodies and the balance per women is very unique - therefore what works for one might not work for another. Our medical system does not have a general answer yet alone enough money and time with medical research on the female body. So my suggestion: you are what you consume -therefore diet, exercise and calm mind and body is first, research into what ingredients might best for your body and start low and slow in amounts and products. But then that is just my opinion.
